cloisonne is what this is called.

 

Tourist stuff and import.

Yes, Chinese cloisonne.  Yellow is one of the harder colors to work with and the box probably isn't a 'marriage', as much as a boxed example of the use of two types of procedures for making that style of cloisonne.  The dish has what it termed 'counter enameling' on the exterior (bottom) to prevent damage to the interior design during firing, where the vase doesn't need it because of shape.  The floral design if relative common on the older pieces - probably early to mid 20th century.   Yes, it is commercial, tourist, decorator category.

Not saying 'NO' doesn't mean 'YES'.

Perhaps if Brains were described as an APP, many people would use them more often.
