How to block a non paying buyer?

I have had a few non paying buyers, there used to be an option of offering a 2nd chance, but I cannot find it, has it been removed?

Anyway, I'd like to block non paying buyers so they do not become repeat bidders.

Thanks for you help.

How to block a non paying buyer?

What would likely benefit you a great deal is to use your Seller Hub.  It has a wealth of information in it.  It is almost a one stop shop.

https://www.ebay.com/sh/ovw

Now it can be a little overwhelming to learn the Seller Hub, but I encourage you do keep plugging away on learning about it as it will only benefit you in the future.  Also know you can customize the screen.  You can move the boxes around to be in the order in which you use the most and hide tiles that you have no use for.

Just take your time with it.  Learn some, take a break.  Come back, learn more.  Rinse and repeat.  And if you run into any problems or questions, we will be here for you

https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/selling-tools/seller-hub?id=4095

The Icon to customize appear on the right side Close to the top of the page.

If you look at the tile called LISTINGs, at the bottom of that tile you will see SEE MORE.  Click on that.  The last option is to Eligible for Second Chance Offers.  Click on that and you can see any available listing that qualifies for a SCO [second chance offer].

Keep in mind that buyers have the ability to deny receiving SCOs in their site preferences, so some listing may not show SCOs because the buyers didn't want to entertain them.

Blocking buyers for ANY reason has a link on the Seller Hub in which you can get to the BBL [blocked bidder list] quickly.  It is in the tile called SHORTCUTS.

Here are my tiles and the order I have the first few rows in.  There are other options of Tiles that have great info for you, depending on how deep you want to go.

I believe that you have to cancel the transaction before rep the second chance offers show up.  I don’t do auction anymore but when I did, buyers rarely accepted second chance offers.

Make sure that you have the maximum blocks set up for non paying buyers.  The highest settings are

Block buyers who caused 2345 cancellations of unpaid purchases within 1612 month(s).
