Austin Lone Star Seller Circle

I opened my ebay store in August 2025. I am on social security and looking to supplement that income with my football card collection. I have cards from the 40's-80's. I have complete sets I was selling by team but that wasn't working well. I am back to selling individual cards and want to know how to boost my sales. Any ideas?

Pretty much what everyone always says:

  1. Price properly - if it's priced right and there's any demand, it will sell

  2. List consistently - Even a handful of cards every day or 2 should boost placement

  3. Depending on how many cards you have, consider player lots. These usually sell pretty well but I don't do it myself personally.

  4. Promote - Even 2-3% should get more eyes on the listings. Doesn't guarantee sales but it gives you a better chance.

  5. I always almost list individual cards. Typically with Sets, people are looking for big discounts on the cards which I'm not really into.

  6. Allow Best Offers. Doesn't mean you need to accept them but helps get people interested as well. I do set a minimum on mine for common cards, so I won't sell a card for say less than $1.65 with free shipping which is a marketing tool basically to get more buyers in the door.

Hope these help or give some ideas.
