can the seller see what the maximum bids are on someone who has bid on there item. Something fishy happened about 12 hrs before the bidding was going to end it's like someone knew my max bid amount. Thanks

I was bidding on some things, the current price was about $75 below my max bid. At 12 hrs. to go in the bidding someone bod $1.01 higher than my max bid amount. then near the end of the bidding I bid it up one more time by about $4 and won the items....
