Hi: I have a 1940s or earlier cuff bracelet that I was given in the
1970s -- I was told it was turquoise. Don't know how to tell its age. No
markings inside. I have attached some photos for any insights would be

Thanks for your input! I agree it is crazy and I should have listened to
my elderly relatives all those years ago instead of reading a comic book
and saying "uh-huh" when they were telling me stories....
Hi: Thanks for the suggestion. It doesn't attach to my kitchen magnet so
that is evidence of something...I am going to keep searching for similar
items. As far as I know, my great aunt in Minnesota acquired it,
probably anytime between 1920 and 1940,...
Thank you. I am going to investigate further and if I can't get a
history on it I will at least confirm what the stones and the bracelet
itself are made of.
Thanks for your reply -- that opens another level of inquiry -- I am not
sure if this is silver or some alloy. Here are larger pictures in case
that helps. The color of the stones becomes almost greenish depending on
