Saving variations as draft

Each time I start a variation and have several items to list, if I don't complete every step right away, then I can't save the variations I listed. There is no save button on the variations add page, so I must back out - Then I lose all the variation...

I only have a recurring issue on eBay. When I make a listing, the description box empties itself every time I save. I chatted with eBay help; they said it was Chrome. It only happens with eBay, not vendoo, financial sites, AI sites, or any other site...
