IF YOU'RE HAVING DIFFICULTY GETTING PAST THE SALES TAX BLOCKAGE ON AN EBAY LISTING INDICATING A TAX ERROR. GO TO CUSTOM AND UNCHECK THE SALES TAX BOX. THEN YOU CAN PROCEED WITH YOUR LISTING.

Read the thread. He will not prevail on a bank dispute with a valid eBay contract already consummated. And, he is free to come and pick up his purchase. It's not being held hostage and he may have another resource for picking his purchased item up.
