A buyer requested to cancel so I processed a full refund, but for some
reason eBay shorted the refund by $1.00 and I can see that $1.00 in my
Total Funds. Called eBay and the agent blamed it on a "system error" and
said the buyer will get the $1.00 b...
What about items I've already shipped that are maybe headed to the wrong
address? I didn't see anything in the message about eBay covering our
losses in those cases.
I've done all that. The buyer has the tracking number and knows the
package is on its way. Ebay is still showing it as delivered, though. I
think that once it's registered as delivered in ebay's system, ebay no
longer checks the tracking to update it...
Come to think of it, I do remember the clerk scanning the barcode, then
making a face like something went wrong, pushing a couple of buttons on
the screen, and then scanning it again. Maybe the clerk accidentally
scanned it as delivered the first tim...
I have tried to send the buyer the $1.00 myself from the refund page,
but every time I click on "Review Refund" I get an error message. The
$1.00 refund just won't go through on my end.
