I've made 2 offers on an item over the past 4 days(w/in $1.50 of price) & seller won't respond. Why?

I made an offer for (2) of an item that was listed at 10.99 & I offered $8.50 ea. No response for 2 days . Tried again and offered $9.25 each and still no response. What do I do? They're the only person selling exactly what I need.thanks,kdkranch2003

How can you prevent everyone who looks at your profile/feedback etc. from seeing what you've bought? If I buy "lots" of items to resale in a business I may not want everyone knowing everything about my transactions. Thanks so much for any help!
