I didn't ask to cancel the transaction but it got canceledWhy the seller can cancel the transaction at will? Then republish and auction again!

I bought this limited numbered item and paid for it. I found that the seller republished the same limited numbered item. Is it mistake or? I didn't receive the reply from the seller yet. This should be a deceptive act. How could I do? Tks
