not be as effective, but they must have a reason for doing it, and have

And yet it can be done to "attempt" to drive the auction price up, and
if the seller doesn't get what they want and they "win" their own
auction (always the 0 feedback buyer entering late in bidding), they
simply relist the item and repeat the proces...
