I think the seller’s “out” is that the item is still active until they pay - so other offers or buy it now can take precedence if they pay first

Same happened here, had to google to find this thread. Daft system. Have emailed customer to see if they received any notice that I accepted their counter-offer… so far nada. so buyers can just spray offers about the place without having to pay now??...
