I noticed the saved searches feature on the website and on the app was recently updated, and it is no longer working properly.
First, any saved search for a larger category, that contains sub-categories, does not generate or show only new results; every time you hit that search it shows *all* items in the category, not just the newly listed items, as before.
Even if you save new searches for the sub-categories, the app will indicate new search results with a blue dot for the search, but when you hit the search it shows a lot of previously seen, stale results, and seems to omit some new, unseen results.
In other words, I can no longer used saved searches to only view new, previously unseen items, properly. This was a key feature I used several times a day previously. It now does not work. Is there a workaround? Is this a known bug and is a fix in the works?

I have this problem too. Both on iPhone and iPad. I also use this feature daily so this is very troublesome. We need a fix ASAP.

Same here. I keep hoping/waiting to find it got fixed. In addition to this, there are other bugs with the newest update that make some seller functions challenging.

I just updated my app to a newer version (released today) NO difference. I still have this problem (plus a few others).

Same here, every time I log on I get notifications that something new has come up in my saved searches yet it's just a repeat of what I've already seen. Absolutely rubbish update eBay sort it out!!

Is there any way to escalate this to eBay? velvet@ebay @community_team can you help with this? At least to confirm eBay is aware of the issue and trying to debug?

I’m having the same issue. I tried sorting each search by "newly listed" which kind of works but the setting doesn’t seem to get saved. At the bottom of the iPad search list there was a request for feedback and I left a negative review.

These changes with the saved searches in the app are making it really difficult for me to search and review. They also removed ‘date added’ in the sort option list which was the primary way I arranged my list. It’s frustrating me to the point that I’m probably missing things I’d likely buy. Why would they change the way people like to search? I have dozens of searches cultivated over years, and now I can’t arrange them how I like it, and it keeps showing me the same items again like others have pointed out. eBay, please change it back to what it was! This is bad for business and you’re alienating established buyers. Thanks.

velvet@ebay thank you for the assistance. I spoke with the mobile team and they seem to have fixed the issue for me.

The latest update seems to have fixed some of my searches, but not all.
I still have at least one where I get all ~800 items listed every time there is one new one.

I’ve been watching this closely..as of this morning sometime, it looks like my saved searches are working as I would expect them to.
