Can someone please give details regarding the statement that the new Stores experience will "improve Search Engine Optimization"?
How, exactly will the new Stores have "Enchanced SEO and Traffic benefits" (besides just being https compliant)
Thanks.

Active content such as JavaScript and Flash hinders mobile purchases, creates longer load times, and increases security vulnerabilities. The new Stores experience will be 100% “active content free”, comply with HTTPS (security) requirements which will enable the new pages to be found more easily by search engines like Google. Further, the new pages will be mobile-optimized at the platform level for the first time ever and are designed to look optimal on web, mobile browsers, and tablets.

So stuff that should have been done years ago, but something we have been paying for...for years.

I was not asking about security and load times or Mobile optimization.
Active Content and Flash have been banished since 2016 on listings, this is nothing new.
I use the "New" (5 or 6 year old) store format with no 3rd party features or templates. Besides being htpps ... How is the "new and Improved" store format going to help with SEO, specifically? Will Store Catagories be Keyword indexed? Will the "Searh Engine Keywords" under Manage my Store finally actually be used for Search Engine indexing? If so, will it stop just grabbing complete titles from listings as default keywords? Will we be able to add Keyword tags or anything?
