Fake bag case on Judge Judy

On Judge Judy, fake bag - Hermes - case.  $2,900 bag. Sold on CL

Plaintiff and defendant Met at Hermes Store. - Beverly Hills

She paid.  Took the bag and they parted ways.

Plaintiff contacted defendant again and pretended she wanted to buy another bag from him.  When he met her, her dad was there to grab him, telling him it was fake.  Grabbed his keys and would not let him go until his daughter got his money back.  He did not have it so theyTook all the information - from his driver's license  so they could sue.

On Judge Judy

Plaintiff had an authenticator - My Poupette.  She pointed out some of the discrepanices that indicated it was fake comparing it to a real bag.

Defendant listed on Craig's List what he claimed was his mom's Hermes Bag.  Judge Judy dug deep asking what mom did, dad did.  Mom unemployed.  Dad worked at Boeing making space shuttles.  Judy dug even deeper and learned he was a welder.  Hard to believe they could afford 2  expensive bags.

Judge Judy did not believe him.  Said defendant committed grand larceny.  She believed authenticator.

Said if bag was real it would be foolish for plaintiff to give it back

Said plaintiff needs to go to the Police Department.  And said judgment for plaintiff $2,900.

Then plaintiff said defendant was in the process of selling a 3rd bag.  Judy said she would be turning those bags to the Police Department where defendant would have to prove they were real before he got them back.

At that point, Pop gets busted for unlawful confinement or possibly kidnapping.

OK kids, time to get the Dodge loaded up again. I hear 'Poppy's By the Tree' calling. This trip might be a long one too.

TV personalities have no authority.  Prosecutors and police do.

Pop's lucky he didn't get shot.

Well you know what they say about a fool and his money...

The easier you are to offend the easier you are to control.

Judy did give a dig at the Plaintiff, about her living at home and paying $2,900 for a pocketbook.

She's not acting as a judge on her tv show; she's an arbitrator.  Both parties agree to abide by her decision.

That asking about professions and salaries and who couldn't afford the purses is pure theatrics.

That act alone eliminates all credibility on her part.  Though in my eyes, she never had any.

Not necessarily.  Our income is roughly $1800/mo.  It would be mighty sketchy for me to be buying a $2800 bag. Heck, my truck didn't cost me that much!  I'd be suspicious of me, too lol

Income?  You have income?  You got us beat, lol.

Doesn't mean we don't have more than a few things we could sell for far more than the price of a Hermes bag.
