Anyone catch the whole story? Heard it on the radio and wasn't paying close attention at first until I heard something about amazon drivers busted in a $10 million theft ring.

Maybe this is it: https://abcnews.go.com/US/wireStory/apnewsbreak-fbi-amazon-drivers-part-major-theft-ring-64715582
To quickly recap, two Amazon drivers had the job of picking up Amazon returns from the Seattle airport and taking them to the Amazon warehouse. They were stealing from those items; they were not porch pirates. Items were sold to a pair of pawn shop fronts who then resold them on, where else, Amazon!

Only 2 A. drivers involved. The radio made it sound like a whole fleet of them. yes other people were involved but only 2 drivers it seems.
I cannot believe the only way they got caught was a detective was looking over the pawn stores records and saw that they brought stuff from the same person 57 times and started watching the pawn store after that.
Totally different then what I thought I heard on the radio. I guess when you aren't paying close attention and you here a name, your mind jumps to other conclusions. maybe I heard it right and the radio station jumped to conclusions? Or maybe we both did?
Anyways thanks for finding the article for me. Some reason when I looked for it I got other Bleep.
