I recently applied for an eBay Developer Program account and received a notice that my account activation could not be approved due to internal eligibility and risk controls.
I have already submitted an appeal through the Developer Account Support page under "My account registration was rejected" and provided additional information about my intended use case.
For context, I am a US-based eBay seller operating the store DTS-AUTOPARTSCOM. My account has been active for nearly two years, with over 1,000 successful sales and excellent feedback. I am requesting API access solely to support my own eBay business.
I developed an internal tool that prepares listing information and creates draft listings for inventory that I sell through my store. All listings are manually reviewed before publication, including pricing, photos, shipping details, and final submission. The tool is not used for automated publishing or management of other accounts.
I understand that eBay may not be able to disclose specific details regarding activation decisions. However, I would appreciate any guidance regarding the review process, expected response times for appeals, or whether there are additional steps I can take to provide information about my use case.
