Hello eBay Developer Community,
I recently applied for an eBay developer account so I could test an integration for a small inventory/listing workflow. The goal is to help a friend who runs a clothing resale business create a more automated process for managing inventory and preparing eBay listings.
After review, I received an email saying my developer account activation could not be approved at this time. The email mentioned internal eligibility and risk controls, but did not provide specific details on what caused the rejection or what I should correct.
I noticed that several other people in the community seem to be experiencing similar issues. I also saw the recommendation to submit a “Contact Us” request through the Developer Account Support page and select “My account registration was rejected,” which I have already done.
Is there any way to get additional help or clarification on what information is needed for reconsideration? I’m happy to provide more detail about the use case, app workflow, data handling, or anything else required to show that the project is for legitimate seller inventory/listing management.
