All new business sellers will be opted in to Seller Hub. It is the tool for business sellers and store owners. Consumer sellers will still use My eBay.

@sandyoutlet: Just to be clear, can you please define your terms "business seller" and "consumer seller"?

I was pushed into Seller Hub yesterday and cannot see why. Its content and statistics are of little to no interest to me; I rarely list more than about 10 items at a time, and do not have a store, etc. I'm now finding that all the content I could previously find on one My eBay page is now spread across multiple pages (e.g. "listings," various "orders" subgroups, etc.) for no apparent reason.

All the content that I could quickly scan on one page (e.g. pending payments, paid/ready-to-ship, scheduled, active, sold) now requires multiple interactions. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't see any way to bring that data back into one screen again using Seller Hub as opposed to My eBay. What inadvertently qualified me for this?

Business sellers are determined by their registration status or a specific number of sales. Seller Hub is also for sellers who have a store or were previously using Selling Manager or Selling Manager Pro. Consumer sellers would be those who have smaller sales, not registered as a business, or not subscribed to a store, selling manager, or selling manager pro.

Seller Hub is where we'll be investing all of our future product enhancements. It may take a little time to get used to the new UI, but it really does have great features that can help you grow your business. Please be sure to check out the "customize" button at the top to rearrange the overview page to see only what you want to see. Thanks!

Problem with new Promotions interface.

When you ebay started to farce everybody in Seller Hub interface they changed Promoted Listings interface (nothing bad) and Promotions interface, which is really bad.

I understand that people do not like changes, I don't like too. But this is not about just interface. You took our important functionality. I need to be able to have $1 or $2 off from like every $20 customer spend in our store. It wasn't a problem until you took our old interface. Some programmer would like to make life easy and they started from $5 off without any ability to put anything smaller. It was an option "OTHER", which were giving us that option. Now, $5 is the smallest possible.Old InterfaceOld InterfaceNew InterfaceNew Interface

After more than month and few calls to Dedicated Support I almost loose my hope anybody even care about small seller problem. Is there any possibility you will be able to let those programmers know about our situation  so they will be able to make that small change for them but crucial change for us?

Thank you very much in advance for your help.

Hi @rock4best

I'll share your feedback with the Promoted Listings team for their consideration.

Thank you.

NO, it is not Promoted Listings team. It is Promotions team.

Even you got confused. Again, it is about ability to create promotions which actually do help a lot together with Promoted Listings.

Understood, good job it's the same team 🙂

Will the seller hub have an offline listing tool (AKA turbo)?

Hi!  We had an enhanced seller hub update about a month ago, then after 2 weeks this dissappeared to the older seller hub version.  The update had some great enhancements to it such as new shipping update status on the overview page, and the ability to see buyer messages without drilling down into the item number on the sold ship now page.

Is there a way to get this update back?

Just let me know if you would like to get the view back and we'll opt you back in. Thanks!

It's nice of you to be willing to opt this one seller back in.
How about the other million+ sellers?
That sounds like something we all would like to have.

Below is a screenshot I took of the Seller Hub message board about an hour ago. Clearly many in the community, including myself, are VERY UNHAPPY with being forced to use this software and most aren't being at all critical with the current software.

My question is whether or not you are planning on continuing the rollout of Seller Hub, despite that many in the community view it as inefficient, incomplete, and not as good as the old software? My second question is how you justify this position to those in the community who like the old software and feel the new software will impact their businesses negatively.

Hi!  Next suggestion for improvement.  We do a lot of first class mailings from our store.  Is it possible to get the invoices printed in a more flexible format options so we can begin using window envelopes?

Additionally, is it possible to get an enhancement where we bet buyer messages set up so they will print on the invoices?  This will help keep any specific instructions handy without having to wirte them all down before filling orders.

Thank You

Thanks for the feedback. I will pass it along.

@sandyoutlet: I see here that you answered my question about "business seller" vs. "consumer seller" for someone else while I was writing mine; sorry about the overlap there.

While I'm enjoying some success in selling on eBay, I am very definitely in the "consumer seller" category, and your wording suggests that if I opted out of Seller Hub, I could return to the old My eBay page as a permanent choice. Is that correct?

In other words, is My eBay on the way out, or will it remain as an option for anyone who's just selling in small quantities and wants all their information in one place?

We have ramped this new functionality to all Seller Hub users. Only those who have opted out do not currently have it. If you notice that you don't have this functionality, just let me know. Thanks.

YES! YES! YES!  Please get me back into the updated version.  We sell mostly customized items, and seeing buyer messages easily is time saving.  Additionally, is there a way we can get these messages to print on the invoice too?

Me, too.
I sell 19 categories of mostly vintage items.
I don't need/want any of the high falutin' marketing stuff.
And I need to see buyer messages immediately, so they don't lose interest.

On the Orders page when you select Orders paid and shipped.  Once an item is delivered it will show Delivered on: <date>  UNLESS you have done a partial refund (ie refund on shipping because it cost less).  Then all you see is "partially refunded" in place of the shipping status.  To me I would rather have the shipping status always appear.  Don't really need to be reminded forever that I issued a partial refund.  Also I leave feedback a few days after the item was delivered, so for those that don't show the shipping status I have to open the tracking to see.

I see the request to link text add URL when I click on the little gear that says customize shortcuts. It's located along the right under shortcuts.

What is link text? Where is it? What is the URL? How am I supposed to find these things and successfully use them to customize my ebay page?

Can you clarify where you're seeing the message for link text or send a screenshot?

Hi!  One more suggestion for the future enhancements.  We get custom orders from time to time where the buyer will not send their personalized information needed to complete the order.  Is it possible to get a 'no buyer response' reason added for the cancellation?

Most software companies are moving to the cloud. eBay is also moving that direction as well. It is still undetermined if we'll have the exact functionality that turbolister has today, but I know we're working on ensuring that the key features of turbolister are brought into our new tools. Thanks.

I LOVE the "My Selling Manager Pro Summary" page and wish to God that you aren't going to take that away from me. I've tried "Seller Hub" and it is way worse for what I want it to be: a "one stop shopping" place where I can look at my store from a glance, see how much I've sold, how many items need shipped, paid for,  how many auctions have bids and what the bids are at, etc.  The current tools are GREAT! Why are you getting rid of them?

The "Seller Hub" page looks like a smartphone app. I know your bosses probably told you to go make something "smartphone friendly" with "flat design" etc etc and I know you've probably sunk a lot of money into this but we EBAY SELLERS LIST ON DESKTOP COMPUTERS, not smartphones! Please tell them that and let us move on with our dinosaur lives running our fulltime business with antique desktop computers, not new fangled smartphone apps. My business is too valuable to be run with such clunky gimmicky software. Please give us the option to keep using My Selling Manager Pro.

AMEN! I have a smart phone, but it's so much easier to do business on a real computer. Stop optimizing seller activities for smart phones! Listings and other Buyer-focused activities, fine. But let sellers keep doing business comfortably as they have for the last 20+ years!
