cURL error 6: Could not resolve host: api.ebay.com

No matter what requests we make, since this morning at 3:30 am, the error message we get back is that we can't reach the host api.ebay.com. Error message is always: cURL error 6: Could not resolve host: api.ebay.com

What can be the reason for this?

Many error reports are now appearing in the APIs that previously allowed HTTP and that now require an HTTPS protocol. Could that be your issue?
