Did you mean:

tin tank toys from 60s-70s

found these in attic. very nice shape cosmetically. inserted new batteries. but do not power up. The Masudaya light goes on but wheels do not engage. since I am naive on this, is it probably corrosion from batteries left on? Is that alot of work to fix? Or I am better if i sell as is, to someone who has more knowledge as a collector?

Corrosion from leaking batteries can have something to do with the toy not working. Dust buildup in the wheels can also be another cause. You can probably find someone who can possibly fix those toys. If you list them, make sure you mention the Toys are for parts only and need repairs.

Good luck to you.

Yes, let a collector/expert take care of any issues. Sometimes, trying to fix things that you're not familiar with is worse. And as lx-talon says, make sure you let potential bidders know what the problems are and they may be good only for parts.
