Big eye stockinette dolls, often called pose dolls, by Artmark, Bradley, or Dakin, to name a few, were very popular during the 60's. You can buy them on Ebay. But could you share any info on how to clean these dolls? I know not to get the faces wet, as they are hand painted and the paint just smears. But have no idea how to actually clean the faces, outfits, or their arms and legs if they are exposed and have become dirty. An internet search does not not reveal anything other than don't get them wet. I thank you in advance of any advice, help, or suggestions.
