Just wondering if we're going to do picks this year. Another question, will TS make it through the whole season?

Saturday
Atlanta at Philadelphia 4:35pm ET Falcons are prob stronger overall.
Tennessee at New England 8:15pm ET My crystal ball says upset.
Sunday
Jacksonville at Pittsburgh 1:05pm ET
New Orleans at Minnesota 4:40pm ET This could be a good one. The teams are roughly even strength.

Atlanta at Philadelphia...Wentz-less Eagles just ain't the same; Falcons are
filled with a terrible resolve and lotsa Philly cream cheese
Tennessee at New England...Titans may have used up all their magic beans
last week; Patriots have #1 passing offense, while
Titans' pass defense ranks 25th
Jacksonville at Pittsburgh...replay of Week 5 (Jags won 30-9), but Ben most
likely won't throw 5 INTs again. Two of those were
pick-6s, too. Plus, somebody figured out that the Jags
have a woeful record in cold weather--and it'll be in the
teens. Lastly, after that Bills game I can't bring myself
to root for Blake 'oops, missed' Bortles again
New Orleans at Minnesota...replay of Week 1 MNF (Vikes won 29-19, but that's
when they had QB Bradford and RB Dalvin Cook). But,
Saints under Sean Payton have a terrible record in
road playoff games, and the Vikings still have the #1
overall defense in the NFL. This is the pick I have the
least confidence in, though.

I haven't (yet) applied any added weight to these scores like
nana did in last year's post-season pick'em contest...should we
again this year? That is, give more points for the bigger games
--getting the Super Bowl correct earns more than getting the
Conference games correct, and so forth. We can apply the
points retroactively, if we so choose. If it matters.
The Conference Championship games are both on Sunday.
Kickoff times are...uhhh, I dunno. Check your local listings.

Jacksonville at New England 3:05pm ET I think Jax winning last week was a fluke. Pats could very well be unstopable this year.
Minnesota at Philadelphia 6:40pm ET Tough to call.

Tom Brady supposedly injured his throwing hand in practice. Don't know if this is a game changer or not. They can just bandage it up and he should be able to throw well enough. I don't think he broke any bones or strechted any ligaments.

Jacksonville at New England...Jaguars were 8-0 when Bortles did not
turn the ball over; 4-6 when he did. Patriots' defense
isn't the best, so I'll be pulling for Bortles, Fournette
and the Jags' defense. (It's the 16th anniversary of the
Tuck Rule fiasco, so maybe they'll come up with a new
underhanded gimmick if Brady drops the ball.)
Minnesota at Philadelphia...Eagles were fortunate when the Falcons failed
miserably in the red zone last week--Eagles are lucky
to even be in this game. I'll go with the favored Vikings
and their defense.

NE Cheaters have made it to the SB again. The Jags played 'em tough. It wasn't a cakewalk. I can't help but wonder if the Pats are cheating again somehow, and just haven't been caught yet. Maybe a more elaborate form of Spygate?
Vikes vs. Beagles wasn't even close. We'll see if the Beagles can give the Pats a run for the money. The commentaters think the Beagles will def be underdogs.

justpolls was the only one to get both games correct!
....and the only one to go with Philadelphia, too!! Nice.
