No, I don't get that many reversals, only 2 that I remember, maybe 3. After the first one, I wanted to drop PayPal!
What's really the problem with mailing out coupons is I get complaints of non-delivery a lot. I've never failed to mail, just the post office seems to lose mail a lot. Whether that's true, or whether I get lied to a lot, is never provable as I rarely use many DCs: the .70 charge quite steals away the profits.
I too get very cautious everytime I get defrauded for $25 worth of coupons. The temptation must be great for some people. For every $1 in cost, they're getting usually $10 worth of coupons--or money if you want to think of it like that. When someone buys $20 worth of coupons (my price) that is usually hundreds of dollars of coupon face-values, so not much difference from the buyer claiming a false INR for a piece of electronics.
One good piece of advice I gleaned from reading Seller Central forum is sellers, after commiserating with the buyer about the missing shipment, have asked for the address/phone number of the buyer's local post office so they can file a mail fraud complaint, indicating concern that the buyer's package was "stolen". That "innocent" request has blown off a lot of buyers who thought to try and get their merchandise for free, judging by the lack of follow-up to the question.
