OT: Political Discussion... Please...

Coin collectors are prone to political opinions. U.S. coinage and paper money is issued by the government, the numismatic and bullion markets are affected by government economic policies, and our collectibles are first and foremost MONEY which is regulated by the Federal Reserve System. Every numismatic collectible issued by our government is related to an Act of Congress and overseen by the Treasury Department.

I respectfully request our "host", "the venue", and other discussion board users allow this discussion to exist. Its purpose is to serve as a repository for political opinion, thereby keeping political interruptions to a minimum on the other discussions related to coins, paper money, and the bullion markets, on this board. In this way, users who are not interested in political commentary can use the board without being subjected to it. Prior to establishment of a Political Thread, many quality on-topic discussions were ruined by endless political bickering.

Users of all political persuasions are welcome, users who do not wish to participate can easily avoid it. It is far better for ALL involved to keep it in one place. To that end, please do not post off-topic dissertations about the Federal Reserve and their connection to the Illuminati & the Bilderberg Group, endless arguments about Ron Paul and gold-backed currency, or rants about what government debt and the next election mean to bullion prices, to the other discussions on the board.

If you are unfamiliar with them, please review the eBay Discussion Boards Policies prior to posting.

Go thinking that there was voter fraud if you want.  Romney still lost.  :^O:^O:^O:^O:^O:^O:^O:^O

Is that supposed to be an example of how we should "move on"?

Or does that show you still can't figure out what you want to do?

After all you have yet to explain what you think Obama will do to move FORWARD.

Or why you voted for a pathological liar.

Or how the unions "protected the workers" at Hostess.

Or how Obama can use the same $716 billion to cut Medicare costs and pay for ObamaCare.

Or what role "free handouts" played in Obama's victory.

Or, for that matter, anything that actually requires you to do some original thinking.

But I do see that you are fully capable of demonstrating the "mature attitude" that is prevalent in so many  "educated" Obama supporters.

Now about any facts to back up anything you have ever said here .....

Was it someone else who said all white Republicans are racist?

I didn't think so.

The reason, Bart, that I ask if you have any European ancestry is that I have never known anyone to be so anti-white.

I can think of another person right off the top of my head.  The POTUS.

anti-liberal is actually something i've called myself... but the closest choice when registering to vote is Republican...

0 for Romney?  I don't believe that.  If someone was going to cook the election do you really think they would be so dumb that they would not let Romney have any vores?

When the facts are presented to your alternative universe in which you reside, you only further prove how stupid "they" actually are.

So much for Oldiescoins wanting to move forward.

The so called cover up was nothing more than republicans using it to help Romney in the general election. Its over and so is the story. Rice will be the next secretary of state.

This of the AP.

WASHINGTON (AP) — The White House could finally have its chance to close the books on its Benghazi public relations disaster, as key Republicans signal they might not stand in the way of U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice to become the next secretary of state.

"I think she deserves the ability and the opportunity to explain herself and her position," Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., told "Fox News Sunday." ''But she's not the problem. The problem is the president of the United States," who, McCain said, misled the public on terrorist involvement.

Rice is widely seen as President Barack Obama's top pick to replace Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton as the nation's top diplomat. But Rice's reputation took a serious hit this fall when she relied on unclassified talking points provided by the intelligence community that portrayed the attack in Benghazi, Libya, as a spontaneous assault by a mob angered by an anti-Muslim video posted on YouTube.

Intelligence officials quickly amended their assessment to conclude the attack hadn't been related to other film protests across the Middle East. But that revised narrative was slow to reach the public, prompting Republicans to allege a White House cover-up ahead of the Nov. 6 election.

0The attack killed Ambassador Chris Stevens, a State Department computer specialist and two former Navy SEALs who were working as contract security guards.

McCain's remarks were in contrast to his previous stance that Rice wasn't qualified to replace Clinton, who is expected to step down soon, and that he would do "whatever is necessary" to block Rice's possible nomination.

Sen. Lindsey Graham, McCain's close friend and colleague on the Senate Armed Services Committee, told ABC's "This Week" he still suspects the White House intentionally glossed over obvious terrorist links in the attack to keep voters from questioning Obama's handling of national security.

But instead of repeating his prior assertion that he was "dead set" against a Rice promotion, Graham suggested he looked forward to hearing her out. If Rice were nominated, "there will be a lot of questions asked of her about this event and others," said Graham, R-S.C.

The subtle shift in GOP tenor on Rice could be the result of internal grumblings on how far to take party opposition. Democrats picked up extra Senate seats in the election to maintain their narrow majority, making it that much harder for the remaining 45 Republicans to block the president's nominees.

One senior GOP Senate aide said Sunday that Republicans hadn't united against Rice and were not convinced she was worth going after. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because the aide was not authorized to speak publicly on internal GOP deliberations.

"When it shall be said in any country in the world, 'My poor are happy...the streets free of beggars, the aged not in want, the taxes not oppressive, the rational world is my friend because I am a friend of happiness, then may that country boast of its constitution & govt." ~ Thomas Paine

The rationale in this article make about as much sense as your trying to justify how the "union brotherhood" protected 18,500 workers at Hostess.

Now, wasn't it the guy you voted for that said to move FORWARD?

I see you still can't explain how he plans to do that.

Or how this article explains why Obama continued to blame the murder of four U.S. citizens on a video even after being told by his own intelligence community it was a terrorist attack.

Or why Rice deserves to be Secretary of State beyond fronting Obama's lie to the nation on five news networks.

Or why you condone the actions of a pathological liar beyond "New cars & bonus for the union reps".

Think we can expect anything substantive anytime soon?

I won't hold my breath waiting.

BTW: Did you perhaps mean "This off the AP"?

jeff new andused, I read in my morning paper that in another decade or two there won't be a white majority in this country.

Does that scare you?  What will that mean for the Republican party?

It will only scare me if that majority is as racist as you are.

Now, care to guess how many in that majority will be paying taxes versus getting "free handouts"?

Went to the Giant this morning to see if they had any Hostess Cupcakes left.  Cashier told me they were sold out the same day they went of business.  He said some were selling on eBay for a hundred dollars, didn't say how many.  Thanks moochelle for putting a good company out of business; oh and the union too.  If she says don't eat apple pie, that's where I draw the line.

Remember Obama's support of "a new democracy" in the Middle East called the "Arab Spring"?

Any comments about how that's working out in Egypt where a Muslim Brotherhood president Obama was told wouldn't run for office is now unilaterally seizing power to the point where protestors are again active.

Looks to me like Obama's "foreign policy success" openly supported the exchange of one dictator for another.

Is financially supporting this new dictator an example of moving FORWARD?

Maybe Obozo should tell Morsi to step down like he did to Mubarak?  Or maybe Obozo should go over to Egypt and have a litte chitchat with him?  I'm glad to see that the protesters are protesting his move.

Now we see why Eric Holder was appointed as U.S. Attorney General.  So he wouldn't investigate Fast and Furious, Benghazi and whatever.

I too voted for the American and not the Kenyan.  So don't blame me.

I see you are still denying facts while failing to explain why you voted for a pathological liar.

Or what Obama will do to move FORWARD.

Or how the unions "supported the workers" at Hostess.

Now about those reason we should move on .....

BTW: Have you figured out yet why the tax laws have different rates for earned and investment income?

Or how much your pension paid in taxes as its "fair share"?

Or how much "free handouts" influenced the election results?

Or how Obama can use the same money to reduce Medicare costs and pay for ObamaCare?

Or why it is only white Republicans are racist?

One would think an informed" voter should be able to answer to at least some of these questions.

But then again .....

Resorting to easily modified bumper sticker slogans again I see.

Are the facts becoming that difficult to handle?
