Good morning everyone!

Roger - Ike is still off playing deer hunter.  I have to make a big batch of my famous toasted steel-cut oats if I want breakfast.   Oh, I forgot I bought great oatmeal raisin cookies at Meijer.  I will eat some of them and make oatmeal later!!:^O

Today is a PT day which is nice and I slept well last night which was wonderful.

While I was out yesterday, I looked all over (new/used) for a bottom sheet but came up empty. After PT, I will go to the two local thrift shops to see if I can find one.

My nose quit hurting, but I am having a hard time keeping a band-aid stuck on there.

Have a beautiful day.

PT went well. Melanie is forcing Logan to go with his mother for the weekend as she needs a break. Alli will ride along with her but Gabe will stay with me cause he hates riding around in the car. He should be here shortly.

I stopped a the consignment shop and not only found a sheet for a buck, I found a pillowcase that matches the set for a quarter!:^O

We are all going to BIL & SO, Amanda's, place tonight for dinner (she is cooking a turkey) because her father is coming up for the first time and she wants him to meet the family.

Good afternoon everyone!

sheba - Waving hi!

I am going to putz around the house today. I need to go in the garage and sort out Christmas stuff. I have enough to decorate a few houses. I said I was nor decorating this year, cause we will probably be leaving right after Christmas and I am not putting all that stuff away, so I decided to put the fiber optic trees out and save those for myself. I have one for every room and I can take three in the trailer for future years. However, the garage is not heated and Ike has one of those salamader heaters and I do not want to mess around with it and it is really cold here.

Melanie informed me that her ceiling's are only 8 foot and my tall, skinny tree that holds all of the glass ornaments is 12 foot, so I think I will just hang onto that in case I ever end up spending Christmas here. I have a huge, really nice santa claus collection that needs to be split up. I will keep a few of the smaller ones, but the rest will go to Melanie and I will store the one's for Lisa till she ever finally gets settled somewhere. Melanie wants the tree and decorations that go in my sanctuary room.

Amanda has nothing, so I have a bunch that I can send her way. I also have antique ornaments that I put on my bird tree and they can just stay here too.

My niece got a buck the other day and my SIL got a big 12 point, which would have been a 14, but two tines were broken off on one side. A BIL got a big doe.

Ike has the one from bow season and I could care less if he gets another one.

Have a most wonderful day.

Good morning everyone!

Jimmy - Unfortunately, I don't think you can use that as part of your case as it has been shot down many times.  They only wait until itr is almost tooo late before they learn. i.e., the coral reefs.:-(

Got everything done I wanted to do yesterday so today is a day of rest. Because I watch church online with a 3 hour delay because of the time difference, I watch the late service as that is the one I will be attending, that is the one I want to watch and it makes it 1:30 which makes it an odd time.

The food pantry is having a special handout tomorrow and I am taking Amanda. Melanie is guessing stuff for Thanksgiving. I already bought everything, except the ham, as none were on sale last week when I went to the dermatologist.

Off to do...NOTHING!

Have a beautiful day!

Happy Sunday....

Geesh,  I hate when I do something really dumb.

I had two little checks totalling $80.  I planned to deposit them on the way to the grocery store this morning.

I ~

  • Wrote out the deposit ticket.

  • Signed the checks.

  • Folded them all up and put them in my wallet.

  • Drove to the bank.

No folded up deposit.

I have looked everywhere I can think of, retraced my steps...

It has just vanished.

I have no idea what has happened to it.

Wow Lynn a 6x6, don't hear about to many of them. I have 4 or 5 a day coming in, most are 6 and 8 pointers.  Bad year for ticks, had 3 on me today.

Jimmy - I do not know where she hunted but she lives downstate where there is a lot of farm area and that is where most of the record buck's come from on private land.

Morning All...

It is now official.  I am absolutely loosing my mind.  I'm convinced.

After the issue of the bank deposit yesterday, I fell asleep last night with the remote control on the bed.  As I was waking up this morning, I heard it drop onto the floor.

Upon fully waking, I attempted to find it.

I can't find it anywhere.

It's a small bedroom and there's not very much floor space to begin with.  I have turned the room upside down.

Good morning everyone!

moldman - Waving hi!:-x

sheba - I can relate to that.  I never did find my remote and snatched the one from the living room TV that rarely gets watched.  Also, did you know that the flip side of that 45 was the same song, played backwards????  I remember buying it!

Off to the pantry, then off to PT.

Have a beautiful day!
