Good Morning!

This is my new-to-me car.  It has a white pearl finish and is very pretty.  It is a 2003, so I have a vehicle built in this century now.  It has every option available at the time and drives nice.  We drove 4 hours and the car that I had intended to purchase had a problem where the heated seat on the driver's side did not work and it was not a fuse.  Bummer!  We checked at all the car lots on the way back, and in Alma, I found this.  It needs to go to the paint shop for a little work but should not cost too much.  It also has to have the brakes checked. They work fine to stop, but jerk a bit.  This is also not a big deal.  They were asking $5,999 but I got it out-the-door for $4,400 cash.  Unfortunately, it only has one key, so I have to get a key and fob for Ike.  It is in excellent condition and this one has a sun/moon roof.

We stopped at the casino on the way home and I came out $60 ahead, so that was nice.  We left the plates on the old car and put all the papers in the new one, which I drove 250 miles with NO PLATES!  I drove just a little above the speed limit but only saw one cop on the way home.  It now has insurance on it and the old car is having a new windshield put in it as it had some stone chips.  It was only $50 and Melanie will only put PL/PD on it and I did not want to have it crack all the way across and have to have her pay for a new windshield.

We have a lot of stuff to do and our big music festival is coming up on the 9th.  The 5th wheel neds 6 new tires and a little bit of work done and Ike needs to get a chip put in his truck for better mileage and power and a new exhaust.

We have had Gabriel here all week and he and grandpa are out fishing.  Later, they will have to pick up the old car and take it to Melanie's (which is just down the road from there) and get an estimate on what the paint will cost for my new ride.  He also needs to order the tires for the trailer and haul it in to have them put on.  I will have lots of packing to do.  This will be the first trip with the new Sheba kitty and I think we will have a hard time keeping her inside the trailer.  I am going to take her on a leash. Tori has been there three times and Cami went last year.

Alli got back from Washington DC yesterday and had a wonderful 10 days.  They also went to Gettysburg and Hershey.  I cannot wait to see the pics.

Time to get something done.

Hello, hope everything is well with you all. Another prayer request please.

I asked for prayers for my friends sister Rita who has had several surgeries for brain cancer. She is in rehab now but has lost short term memory, sometimes cannot remember words and other things also. I ask you all please keep her in your prayers! Maybe a prayer also for my friend Johanna who is totally devastated about her only sister. Thank you all and many Blessings to you!

Carole, I missed the flood prayer request, sorry.  Prayers continue for your markers and general condition, sweet one.  It's 95 right now, still gorgeous mornings.  Supposed to be up to 111 next week.  I still love it here!  And my little complex is a nice place to live, and I LOVE living near Todd! 

Pot luck tonight at the Front Porch Ministry, where we meet in a home in our neighborhood once a month for pot luck, communion, prayer and lots of fun!

Carole - Plumbing issues are never any fun.  That is a little too hot for me. Keeping you in prayer for the cancer issues. 

Our 5th wheel is getting 6 new tires on Monday and then coming here so we can start to get it ready for the music festival on the 9th.

Hello everyone. Its been a while since I have visited the board. Been feeling really down lately w life difficulities and well seemed it was time for me to visit the prayer thread and request some prayer. I struggle w alot of depression and physical pain. Before Christmas I was staying at a friends house and fell down her stairs. Since then my knee and and lower back and butt been hurting more than usual.  I know did i go to the hospital? The answer is no. Also, since then my 20 yr old daughter moved in w me or we moved in w a friend. My daughter doesnt have her drivers license yet and I have to drive her to work.

I usually do a little ebay on the side to make some extra $$ to supplement my income but that doesnt seem to be in the cards for me and I am very depressed because of it. Just bought what I thought was a pair of Nike air jordans but it looks like I may have been taken at the Goodwil!!

I had some savings before my daughter and I moved in together but that is dwidling and making me worried and depressed. She is saving and I am dwidling. Is there something wrong w this picture? Well I am going to continue catching up and reading on the board. Hope everyone is doing well. And may the Lord God Almighty answer all our prayers in Jesus name.
