Are all your needs met today?
I could ask a thousand believers that question, and most of them would just shake their heads bewildered. I don’t know, they’d say. No matter what I do this illness, these financial problems, these awful circumstances keep dragging on. I’m just waiting on God to do something about it.
That’s tragic! Because while they’re waiting on God, He’s waiting on them!
The Book of James says, You have not because you ask not. You ask, and receive not, because you ask amiss. In other words, if your needs just keep on not being taken care of, it’s either because you’re not praying at all or because you think you’re praying and you’re not!
That news may come as a shock to you. Especially if you’re among those who’ve used prayer as a kind of spiritual wishbone, going through the motions but not really expecting results. If that’s been your attitude, then change it! The time has come for you to get serious about prayer. You need to stop praying just because it’s proper. You need to stop praying just because you always pray at this point in the church service. You need to start praying to get results!
In Luke 18, the bible says, He [Jesus] spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint. A version that really speaks my language puts it this way, Men ought to always pray and not cave in and give up. I like that!
If there ever was a time we needed to pray, it is now. We are facing an extremely critical hour. Satan is literally killing people with disease, drugs, depression, and every other weapon he can get his hands on. At the same time, he is stirring up strife and dissension, trying to disarm the Body of Christ who has the power and authority to stop him.

It is 2:06 am?
Storming and I hurt so I can not sleep & it is hard To forget, To apologize, To be unselfish,
To avoid mistakes, To keep out of a rut, To begin again & again, To make the best of all things,
To keep your temper at all times, To think first and act afterwards, To maintain a high standard, To keep on keeping on,To shoulder blame, To be charitable, To admit error, To take advice,
To forgive, But it pays & is worth it.
Thank you Jesus
This is based on the teachings of Matthew 7:1-2

I HOPE
I hope that I will always be for each person what he or she needs me to be.
I hope that each person's death will diminish me, but that fear of my own will never diminish my joy of life.
I hope that my love for those whom I like will never lessen my love for those whom I do not.
I hope that another person's love for me will never be a measure of my love for him or her.
I hope that everybody will accept me as I am, but that I never will.
I hope that I will always ask for forgiveness from others, but will never need to be asked for my own.
I hope that I will always recognize my limitations, but that I will construct none.
I hope that loving will always be my goal, but that love will never be my idol.
I hope that everyone will always have hope.

"I hope you all come to find that which gives life a deep meaning for you.
Something worth living for maybe even worth dying for, something that energizes you,
enthuses you, enables you to keep moving ahead. I can't tell you what it might be that's for you to find, to choose, and to love.
We can just encourage you to start looking and we can all help support you in your dream.

Where I should be!
There is a special place in life, that needs my humble skill, a certain Job I’m meant to do, which no one else can fulfill.
The time will be demanding, and the pay is not too good and yet I wouldn’t change it for a moment even if I could. There is a special place in life, aGoal I must attain, a Purpose/dream that I must follow,
Because I won’t be back again. there is a mark that I must leave, however small it seems to be,
A legacy of love for those who follow after me. There is a special place in life, that only I may share,
a little path that bears my name, awaiting me somewhere. There is a hand that I must hold, aword that I must say, a smile that I must give, for there are tears to blow away. There is a special place in life
that I was meant to fill, a sunny spot where flowers grow, upon a windy hill. There’s always a tomorrow and the best is yet to be, and somewhere in this world, I know there is a special purpose for me!
Love to All

Urgent prayer request for my husband, Gary, who was admitted to the VA Hospital in Philadelphia, PA last night. He was having very bad angina episodes yesterday. Just spoke to him this morning and he said he has seen 2 cardiologists so far. They are deciding what course of action to take. Right now, the most likely is a cardio cath. He had one 4 years ago. He did a chemical stress test two weeks and apparently a small anamoly was found. Anyhow, the doctors told him it's too dangerous to release him from the hospital until the problem is taken care of.

Good morning everyone.
Keepung all prayer requests.
Diane - Praying that all will be well with your husband. I have had three heart attacks, several angioplasties and intervention with a stent in a big artery. They can do so much now.
Sorry I have not been here but I have been realy busy.
I was at Melanie's last evening only to discover that almost all the coat and gloves that I got the kids at Chistmas have torn at the seams. Even on sale, I paid quite a bit for these and we are of to where I got them and I want cash back so I can get some from another store. This may involve quite a drive, so I am hoping that the roads are okay.
Be back tomorrow.
Have a beautiful day! ![]()

Just wanted to give everyone an update on my husband. He was transferred to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania for the cardio cath which he had done yesterday. The surgeon did not put in a stent. Right now, hubby is scheduled for a triple by-pass on Tuesday . He is still at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and will be there for 7-10 days after the surgery. His surgeon is the Chief of Cardiology at the hospital.
