Hi Roxie -- Yes, our lives change. Yet, we continue on until Jesus calls us home.
Hope -- we have HOPE. This hope brings us through trials, temptations, difficulties, illness, death, misunderstandings, financial challenges, family issues, doctrinal differences, political disagreements, etc.
HOPE -- I hang on to Hope. Hope that Jesus has a plan for my life. Jesus has a plan for your life as well.
Jesus has given us the Prayer Request Thread. What an awesome privilege!

Hello Everyone,
When I feel bad or just seem to tired to go on I remember what the life of just person has done for the world and all of us.
He was a man who was born in an obscure village, the child of a peasant woman. He grew up in an obscure village. He worked in a carpenter shop until he was thirty, and then for three years he was an itinerant teacher.
He never wrote a book. He never held an office. He never owned a home. He never had a family. He never went to college. He never traveled, except in his infancy, more than two hundred miles from the place where he was born. He never did one of the things that usually accompanies greatness. He had no credentials but himself.
While he was still a young man, the tide of popular opinion turned against him. His friends ran away. One of them denied him. He was turned over to his enemies. He went through a mockery of a trial. He was nailed upon a cross between two thieves. His executioners gambled for the only piece of property he had on earth, his seamless robe. When he was dead, he was taken down from the cross and laid in a borrowed grave through the courtesy of a friend.
Nineteen wide centuries have come and gone, and today he is the centerpiece of the human race and the leader of all human progress. I am well within the mark when I say that all the armies that ever marched, all the navies that ever were built, all the parliaments that ever sat, and all the kings that ever reigned, put together, have not affected the life of man upon this earth as powerfully as has this one solitary personality.
Thank you Lord

Keeping all prayer requests.
I am almost recovered from my illness in June. Still too weak to go to the dulcimer festival this week but we are going down just for the last day on Saturday to listen to music and visit with friends.
Thought I would share this pic with you. We went to a mortgage burning party last Saturday held by one of our musical friends and we had a great time. I had to go in the house for a bathroom break and my friend caught me playing Gwyn's dulcimer. I am now over 50# down. Another 35# or so will be just fine.
I don't know how those who do not believe can make it through those hard places in life. We are assured that we are not alone and that is most comforting.
I have been receiving a little magazine put out by 'In Touch' ministeries, headed up by Dr. Charles Stanley. I am always happy when these come as they really are uplifting and also remind me that there is a plan for all of us ~ put in place before we were born.

I know I told you all about 3 months ago that my dear hubby had been diagnosed with stage 4 Lymphoma Cancer. He spent 10 days in the hospital then had his first chemo treatment. While getting that first chemo he had to call the Dr. into the room as he couldn't breathe and they took him to the hospital by ambulance. He had severe Pneumonia. He spent a month in the hospital and during that time they got 4 litres of fluid from his lings!
He has now had 2 more rounds of chemo and spent another 10 days in the hospital because his white count was dangerously low. Twelve days ago he had another chemo treatment and had to go for another PET Scan. He went to the Dr. today to get the results of the scan. The Dr. wants him to have one more round of chemo to be sure but as of now he is CANCER FREE!!!!!!!
PRAISE GOD PRAISE GOD PRAISE GOD!!!!!
