Debbie - God always comes through, although sometimes not in the way we choose, but it is always right. I live in northern, lower Michigan in the middle of a forest.
Roy - I do not think I have Ginny's current email. I think the last card I sent came back. Will you send me her new one? Mine is still lynngehringer@yahoo.com. Thanks.

Ike put new brakes on my new-to-me car but the paint shop is swamped and will have to wait a bit. He ordered the chip for his truck to improve the power and gas mileage.
Melanie and I took a mini road trip up to the UP yesterday and had a wonderful getaway.
The bridge is 5 miles long.

Charles Stanley was saying how we often pray just for things & that the main reason for prayer is to enjoy personal, intimate, warm fellowship with God. Isn't that precious!!
I think what C Stanley said went more like this, "prayer lifts you up out of the negative circumstances & brings you into personal, intimate, warm fellowship with Him." 😄

Roxie - Yes, that is the Mackinac Bridge. It is about 1-1/2 hours from my place. The kids always love it there. There were freighters, but they were far away.
Your mom was such a sweetie. I was so happy that I could record those tapes close-captioned so she could see what was being said. I would love to order the complete set (there are more now) of dvds, but they are out of my price range, even used.
I love Charles Stanley! I get his 'In Touch' magazine with the daily devotions. This probably sounds awful, but I keep it in my bathroom, so I can read it first thing in the morning.
I have to do some housework and laundry today. Nothing new.

Grrrrrr! Just discovered that apparently while my car was parked at the local grocery store yesterday, a vehicle much larger then mine messed up the passenger side from the front fender to the back of the back door. Also, the front door and fender are no longer aligned! Thank God we had taken it to the collision shop immediately for an estimate for the original paint damage that I am paying for. It has to go back tomorrow for photos and an estimate for this damage. I have had this company for years with not a single claim and now have had three within a little over a month.
