Carole - It was a good thing that you two were there.  I do not believe in coindedence and believe that you are where you are for a reason.  It was nice you could comfort this boy until he had a permanent place to go.  He could not have found a kinder soul to help him out.

Bill and I had a date yesterday for Valentine's Day. Our first date was 48 years ago.

Our oriental friend traveled by herself to Garden Grove, California, to take a test on cosmetology for the fingernails. She is 32 weeks pregnant. She is back home and passed with flying colors.

Dear ones, I had a most precious week with my dear friend of 57 years! It was like being on a Christian retreat! 🙂 Thot about you all tho!!

Loved all the dear posts!! Beautiful tribute to Gods love shining thru our Catole, praise reports, beautiful story about sweet Daniel, loving words from everyone to each other, and sad story about Bob's dad. I thank our God tha He wastes nothing, even when we do!!

Hello Everyone,

I was in Arizona for a week. I have been home two days! Back to snow and cold. It was so nice in Arizona visited several relatives weather was great Visits were also great.  I was in the valley only one day & the rest of the time I was in the north east.

I have slept off and on for most of the two days I have been back home.

Bob's dad went home this morning.  He was the same age I am.

Good morning everyone!

Roy - That was an interesting quiz.  It says I should make it to 82.  I don't think anyone in my family has made it that long.  Yes, only the Lord knows.  We could be in an accident and be gone in an instant.

PT today, so I will get out of the house for a bit.  My computer tells me it is +2 here so I am not sure that getting out is what I really want to do.

Melanie is bringing the kids here this afternoon because they are having a quickie viewing for Bob's dad  (I guess this is because of his two sisters).  Bob should never have gone there the other night and should really not go today.  He said his goodbyes a few days before and it should have been left at that.  This is a big family and most were there but there was one brother that said he did not want to remember him that way and did not go and I do not blame him.  At least today will be the end of it.

Time to get moving.

Prayers for friend and customer, Jan. Her mother passed recently. She and her mom had a business together. Her brother is wanting her to distribute her mom's share. No small task with much inventory.

Nicholas is having a six-hour cancer surgery today.

At age 17, "that was a very good year!" It was the year, I asked forgiveness of wrong (sin) to Jesus, my Savior, Redeemer, and Best Friend ever.

At age 19, "that was a very good year!" I went to Denver, Colorado, to go to college -- training in the Bible. I met the love of my life-Bill.

Fast forward -- at age ___, "that was a very good year!" I drew closer to Jesus -- reading the Word of God -- learning new and exciting promises.

What year were your eyes opened to the Best Friend ever?
