I wonder if it would be interesting open a post to exchange sets... or open a post to talk about origin of unknown sets.
I have some unknown sets that i would like to know country & date...
For example this one little weight wooden set (bought in Edinburgh)

I've no idea of the source, but the shapes of some of the pieces looks decidely similar to that of the Rose Chess set of the 1940's.
