New Laserjet Printer Prints Labels With Fiber Like Marks. What Is Cause?

I just bought a new HP Laserjet printer and sometimes it prints out adhesive shipping labels that have small fiber like marks, they look like small pieces of hair or fiber from a carpet. Does anyone know what is causing this?

For label stock, you may need to set the printer for thicker paper, or you can get streaks or marks.

Also check your owner's manual and follow the recommended cleaning procedure.  Could be just some dust or debris.  Sometimes printing a blank page or two will clear it.
