Silverplate flatware pattern OR maker ID? Who is Chas. J. Gray?

Hi folks!  Going blind looking at silverplate patterns trying to find this gorgeous pattern.  Marks on the back say Pat Appl, then Chas. J Gray, and XII.  Odd for monogram on the back side, or to have your name put on the back?  Is this a maker - zero info on this person online.  I've searched through lots of Rogers patterns, on www.sterlingflatwarefashions.com....but I'm going cross eyed.  ANY ideas, and ideas for other places to research?  THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!

looks like Rialto pattern from 1894 made by Holmes & Edwards, Aurora, 1 Waldo HE, and possibly others. Chas.J.Gray could be a retailer.
