I started a return request 3 days ago
I got the return label and use it to return the item using USPS
then i fill in the tracking number in ebay
but today I checked in ebay the tracking looks like strange
The carrier info is not shown and seems not valid tracking status is updated
Then i use the tracking number to search in USPS.COM
It shows the item is already on the way.
is that because I missed to fill in the carrier info therefore the tracking status is not shown ? if it not correctly shown , how can i change it to show the correct status when the item is delivered?

It's fine, still in transit. eBay will give you your half refund tomorrow after tracking shows delivered to the seller.
