I purchased a shipping label for an item and the buyer has now asking the sale to be canceled. I have not shipped it yet. He says he will refuse if I ship. How do I cancel the shipping label and actually receive a refund for it?
Thanks in advance

Hey @jolac_94 . To void a shipping label purchased through eBay, go to this page, find the order and select Cancel from the Actions drop-down. The cancel option is available for 28 days.
It takes between 2-4 weeks to receive a refund on an unused, voided label as the carrier wants to make sure the label isn't used. You'll see the refund on your original source of payment (eBay funds, bank, credit card, etc) and the funds will appear in your account without an email notification.
Cancel the label then cancel the order, relist the item and you'll be good to go.

The key point, as wastingtime101 says, you will not get a notification at all. This is something you need to look for on your own. Many sellers think because they did not receive a notice, the refund didn't arrive.

Be sure when cancelling the sale to use "buyer requested" as the reason.

When you cancel the sale remember that the refund comes immediately out of 'available funds' if any.
Otherwise, if no available funds you will get a negative in 'available funds' until processing is completed which is OK.
I usually don't refund anything until 'available funds' are transferred to my banking.
Having a negative balance doesn't bother me.
