return shipping labesl

Hello

My question is this, if a customer wants to return an item (nothing wrong with it, just wants to return) and starts the return process as no longer wanted, prints a return label provided by ebay, who is charged for the return (since no one is at fault here), is it the buyer, seller or ebay pays for the label?

Thanks

If the buyer opens a return using a buyer remorse reason, they will be billed for the label.  (doesn't fit, changed mind, found it cheaper, don't like it, etc)

GUARANTEED that eBay does not pay for the label!!!  LOL

If the return was under Buyer no longer wants, Buyer will be charged for it.

OTOH if the return was under one of the Significantly Not As Described categories, then Seller would be charged for the label.

Since there is no policing by eBay of whether the correct option for the circumstances is selected by the Buyer,  Buyers seem to be taking advanatge of it and choosing the options that transfer the return shipping cost to the Seller, as evidenced by a large % of the posts on this section of the board.
