Did you mean:

return issue

Received a faulty item. Seller return policy: Not accepting any returns. Seller said send it back. BUT why do I have to pay for the return label? I am not sure why the seller is NOT able to send me a FREE return label. There is no way to contact eBay support. Where is the eBay protection???

Please HELP.

Did you open a case for the proper reason or are you just communicating with the seller via messages?

@art278

Go to the resolution center below and select, the item doesn't match the description.

The seller will have 3 days to accept and provide return shipping or refund without returning.

If they don't, return to the case on day 4 and ask Ebay to step in.

Have A Great Day.

BUT why do I have to pay for the return label?

Which of these reasons did you select @art278 for your dispute?

I believe I choose the first option "Doesn't fir".  Then later I received email from eBay that the seller accepted the return and I should print out the return label. But eBay is now asking for some $7 before I am able to print the label. I was not able to reach anybody at eBay. Not sure what to do now.

Doesn't fit is a buyer's remorse reason, so you would pay the return shipping.

If the item was faulty, why did you choose doesn't fit? Doesn't work or defective would be what you would choose for a faulty item, and for that the seller pays the return shipping.

The easier you are to offend the easier you are to control.

its OK if you chose the wrong option.............it happens frequently

your buyer does appear to be working with you and things shoud progress smoothly if its sent back

I have read about many returns being denied for being remorse returns.I am unsure how some sellers can just say no to a return.

the MBG is a good tool for the buyer to use.it has a lot of choices....  it does appear to have worked somewhat for you

Yes, I choose the wrong reason. Why I can't change it now? The item (Strip Lights) is supposed to be 50FT long but it is just 36FT long. And the plug is not working either. What can I do now? The eBay software designer didn't think of such situations.

The seller wants to give me a FREE return but somehow he is not able to initiate a free return label. Why can't he do that?
