had to use 2 boxes for item

had to use 2 boxes for item. I printed 2 labels different sizes the tracking # stayed the same on both. Did I make a mistake?

Yes - each box will need its own shipping label.

Re: had to use 2 boxes for item

thanks for the quick response.   I typed in the different weights and sizes, paid a diff amount for label #2 but  the tracking # is the same for both. Do you know how I can adjust that.

Re: had to use 2 boxes for item

Did you actually buy two labels?  You would see this in your label purchase history here:

https://www.ebay.com/mes/transactionlist?sh=true

You can also look at the order and see if you have multiple entries for tracking numbers.  But typically when buying labels, you will have a different number for each package in the order.

You buy the first one, then go back to the order and choose get another label.

If you only bought one label, make sure the label you bought matches the package you bought it for (size and weight)  Then get a second label for the other package.
