As confirmed with PirateShip's staff, eBay's API is denying connections with PirateShip.
I'm so sorry for the trouble you experienced with the eBay integration connection. Our team did some digging into the issue and it appears that there is an API issue happening at eBay which is leading to connections being denied.
One can surely tell that no one at eBay actually involved in shipping packages designed eBay's label system.
COMPLETE INCOMPETENCE best describes it!
That is what happens when you apparently hire discount programmers from outside the U.S. who have no first hand knowledge of shipping packages.
Why am I seeing a giant interface with large buttons obviously intended for a smaller touchscreen. You are suppose to poll the user's screen size and then show them a user interface appropriate to the device. Stop showing me a interface that is even bloated on my dual 24" screens. The old interface was much better for desktop so show desktop users that if they wish. You mean eBay lacks the technical skills or money to do this?
I still have to type in the package size. I am using a standard top loading cube box that is 7.25 x 7.25 x 6.5. I should be able to pick a menu of standard box sizes like I created on Pirateship. Then the box sizes are automatically entered upon a selection.
Pirate ship also accepts decimal values. To enter 7.25 in eBay's form I have to enter it twice in order for the decimal to be accepted and then the value is rounded up from 7.25 to 7.3. The first time I type "7.25" the decimal is removed and I have to move the mouse back and insert it in the correct place. I have to do that for each dimension.
Entering actual sizes versus rounding up and could mean the different between obtaining a lower Priority Mail Cubic rate, which the last time I shipped anything eBay did not even offer.
Thanks for wasting my time - not that you care!
In the end it cost you more money as that is more time spent listing items elsewhere which are not such a hassle!
The only thing that could be improved with Pirateship's custom menu would be little icons of the standard box sizes. eBay armed with billions, thousands of employees and overpaid executives can't figure out such a simple concept of ergonomics.

I just accessed Pirateship and had no problem bringing up a list of items needing shipping, nor in printing labels.
Sometimes computers simply hiccup and you hit "reload".
