Has anyone had a shipment sent by eBay Send? Apparantly it is some eBay shipping service? It has a tracking number that is recognized on eBay ESUSxxxxxxxx. Anyway it got "delivered" to my local post office but it was not there when I went to pick it up. Going through the refund process now. Hopefully there will be no issues because it said it was "delivered".

the esus thing sounds like EISD which is what we do in the USA to ship outside the USA on the cheap with ebay
pretty sure its not something you would get delivered here but would send instead
eisd is ebay international standard delivery

Delivered means you lose the case. If it's not at the PO was it returned because you took too long to pick it up? Did it arrive with customs or taxes you didn't pay? Once tracking shows delivered it's between you and your Post Office.

The only ESUS number I ever saw for a purchase was the eBay Standard Envelope the seller sent my item by.
It never tracked beyond "shipping label issued".

The ESUS tracking is for eBay Standard Envelope shipping. These service is available in a few categories, sports trading cards, coins, stamps, and maybe a few others. Maximum is 3 oz, in a PWE , or similar package.
The tracking is hit and miss, at best. They will be delivered without ever showing movement. They will show delivered and actually be delivered a day, or two, later. It may have shown delivered to your PO, because that was the most recent sorting facility. They wouldn't be holding it for you. It will probably be delivered in a day, or two.

EBay Standard Delivery is a confusing joke. It gives you a tracking number that doesn't even show any tracking until it's "delivered" which is not even to your mailbox but delivered to your ZIP code post office. And who knows if they'll ever deliver to your mailbox, because there's no tracking after that. The seller says to contact your local post office but when you live in a large city you can't even call your local post office because they don't answer the phone. Then it links you to a US Postal Service tracking number that doesn't even show any activity. Why does eBay even bother with this garbage, they should just use USPS tracking.

You dug up a 4 yr old thread to rant? Why not start your own thread cuz this one is old and will be closing shortly due to age.
