Sellers are never required to cancel a sale.

Buyers are always required to pay for their purchases.

You can request to have an order canceled, but the seller doesn't have to cancel.

Well next time make sure you really want the item and that it’s the item you want BEFORE you buy it. That way you don’t find yourself in this situation again 🙂

Dont bid unless you really want the item. 10 minutes before an auction is up is cutting it way to close. If you won you should buy it. Unless there is an issue in which somehow you cant contact the seller and they may cancel the auction for you or not.

The OP is posting about an auction? Not a BIN?

He doesn't say if it is BIN or auction, just that he purchased something and 10 minutes later he canceled it. And that is all we know.

I am betting it was BIN because he probably had to make immediate payment and then felt remorse 10 minutes later. Had it been an auction he would have probably not have paid if he had time to think about it since he didn't want it.

I don't think it is a bid he canceled because even if he had won he wouldn't have paid.
