Label printed item sitting idle?

If a label was printed yet a purchased item sits around idle somewhere a week before being handed off to a carrier. Why is this marked as shipped by eBay? Is this not a misrepresentation of the actual truth?

Buyer returned item to themselves.

I really don't know what to do here but this buyer clearly returned an item to themselves and eBay has charged my account nearly 200 dollars after I was already robbed of my item. So this person has my money, and my item, and ebay has closed the case...

Have you ever seen a 34 digit tracking number?
