adding Insurance to your USPS Labels

Hi,

I was trying to add insurance to a USPS First Class label this morning and was unable to find on the new label system. I called ebay for adding insurance on a USPS First Class label. They new ebay label system you have to click " Add additional liability coverage " here you will find USPS Insurance and also Ship insurance. Also I called the Post Office USPS all First Class Package up to 13 oz only now after that only Priority Mail or Flat Rate Boxes. Hope this helps others. Good Luck !

That's their weight limit for over-the-counter Retail pricing. If purchasing First Class Package labels on-line here, you can go up to 15.999 ounces before having to select Priority instead.

Re: adding Insurance to your USPS Labels

Please read the terms on both ShipCover and USPS insurance as it relates to coins and bullion. You may be wasting money on something that they won't cover.  Don't depend on eBay to not allow the purchasing of insurance on non insurable items.
