Wrong address

I made an order and due to a typo, the shipping address was incorrect.  They had attempted to ship the package to me but, they were not able to deliver it so it ended up going to Glendale Heights, IL.  Now the package is stuck there.  I have contacted the seller and they informed me that they have not yet received the package back to them.  Will the package just stay in Glendale Heights, or will it eventually go back to the seller??  I really don't know who to contact for this.  Ebay keeps giving me standard answer, that item couldn't be delivered but nothing else.  If anyone has been through same experience and who can I speak to?

Wrong address

The seller cannot help you.

The package is in Glendale Heights because it is in the EIS (eBay International Shipping) system.

You are in Saudia Arbia.

You will need to wait until 1 day past the last estimated delivery date to file Item Not Received.

I dont know how it works when the buyer puts in an incorrect address.

Maybe EIS will refund you, who knows.

Good luck!

Wrong address

Is it possible that the item was going through eBay International Shipping = and it was sent to IL for Processing?
I've had orders "Hang" at the Processing Centers for Ridiculous Amounts of Time, and had to file for "Item Not Rec'd'...
Even Orders, heading farther away from me, to the Processing Centers.

My Guess, is that a simple "Typo" would NOT,  have caused an item to be Delivered to the wrong address- Unless it was a Number, that was Incorrect in the Street Address /Zip/ Postal Code- Or P.O. Box#, etc.

Does your parcel require a Signature?

If it was a Physical Address, is there any way to notify the (IN)Correct Recipient of the error -  or the Postal Service/ Courier in your area being used for the Delivery?

The Postal Carrier/ Courier may be able to Determine it was a "Typo" if it was in error of a Postal Code/ Zip by looking at the Correct City / State/ Country, etc.

If you are able to provide more accurate information, on the Correct Address and/or  Error, that was made- May be helpful for determining suggestions.

Wrong address

You may never receive it.  The seller may get it back or not, you will still be out the shipping costs and possibly the cost of the item.  Typically, say with FedEx, there is also a back charge to correct an address , not sure how it is handled within eBay.   If you still want the item, you may have to repurchase and pay all over again.  Typos in shipping are hugely expensive, and don't expect anyone other than the one who made the mistake to pay the costs.

Depending on the value, the item might be classified as abandoned
