I have two returns open in which I sent a replacement offer and neither buyer ever followed up on the offer. One of the returns should be closing tomorrow (30 days) and I am worried if this will cause a defect on my account. I know if a buyer accepts a return but never ships it out, I won't get a defect but what I've never offered a replacement before and I am curious on what happens after 30 days.

If the seller does not respond to the offer, or escalate, then the case should close without a refund due to inaction of the buyer.
HOWEVER, I had a customer about 3 weeks ago claim that they had accepted my offer of a replacement, but my side of the interface did not show any action on their part. Considering that situation PLUS you are reporting two cases of inaction, then there may be a bug in the software such that seller's are not being notified of buyer's accepting the offers ... and you might find the case suddenly closing in the buyer's favor because the system assumes that YOU have not taken action.
(I only discovered this because I contacted the buyer outside of the case, asking if they wanted a replacement since they hadn't responded).
