Hi all,
Anyone from eBay know what it means to have a case on hold? I've purchased an item on eBay that didn't match the description and gave all the necessary info proving that is was a false listing.
The above mentions that they sent me an e-mail, but I have yet to receive anything in my inbox which states that I need to provide them with additional information.
What do I do next?
Any and all info will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you to all!

I would call and ask since there is a deadline involved

Go to the resolution center and check whether you need to do anything else at this point. If you are not expected to do anything at this time, there is a note that an action is expected from the seller (or something to that effect).
They are giving the seller time to examine your claim. Don't call anybody, ebay CS is known for scr***ing things up, and you may end up receiving nothing.
Just be patient. If the seller has not responded (e.g. providing a counterargument in the resolution center, or refunded you before 3/30), on 4/1 you can go to the resolution center and escalate the case. Ebay then reviews the claim and makes a decision. It is very likely they will rule in your favor.

Hi, did your claim was resolved? I am in a similar situation, case put on hold...my item has not arrived since February 26/2024...and today is March 12/2024 and way past it's expected delivery...

The year posted 2021...Who keeps these on?....Khoros ?
We certainly know there have been changes since 2021 in eBay...but hey, who cares?

You might want to start your own thread rather than tagging on to all these old threads that will be closed by the moderators.
