Someone selected USPS Priority Mail on shipping services. What type of boxes can I use for shipping? I’m super confused and new at this.

Except Flat Rate Boxes, they can not be used for just priority rate shipping. Other then that as kensgiftshop said.

If you use other than a new box, make sure the box has no markings/advertising for alcoholic beverages on it. Those cannot be used for shipping priority without covering all the makings.

What type of item is it? Can it be mailed in a poly mailer PM?
I sell a lot of items that ship in poly mailers that ship PM.

Go to www.usps.com and visit their store. You can order free of charge flat rate small, medium, large boxes and small, legal envelopes in batches as small as 5 of each.
Any abundance you can take to your post office and just leave there.
Check "first class" and "parcel select" rates as these might be lower than flat rate or use https://www.pirateship.com/ to compare.
You use your home made or recycled packaging then.

I went to see what sold to better help but the ID you are using here isn't what you are using tosell.
First off you should know what postage you are likely to have when writing up a listing, and have the mailers on hand to ship promptly when an item sells.
As to your question. There are three types of Priority.
1. Flat Rate, for this you nee the Priority boxes that are marked Flat Rate and use postage that corresponds with the size of Flat Rate mailer you are shipping.
2. Regional Rate, These also have marked boxes and require postage that corresponds with the box size.
3. Zoned Priority, These boxes just say Mailing box They require postage that is figured by distance between your zip code and the buyers zip code, and weight. Also dimensional weight will factor in if the box is over 1 cubic foot. There are a lot of different sized Priority boxes available or you can us a plain brown box or reuse any sturdy box. Recycled boxes should have any reference to items that can not be shipped (see the list on USPS.com) and any old barcodes covered or removed.
