Did you mean:

Uploads

Ebay says you have to upload a receipt to prove you shipped a package that wasn't received. How do you do that? It's so hard to understand

@peakfitz

Did you receive a shipping receipt with a barcode?

Generally what is required is the "tracking #" provided by the carrier. Would be on the shipping label. Would be on the receipt.

Re: Uploads

If you bought the postage through eBay, the tracking number would show on your sold page. Copy and paste tracking number to the reply page in the space provided. If you shipped by other means or at the post office, you would need to get the tracking number from the receipt, you then would need to enter the number to the reply.

Just because the number shows on the sold page, does not mean you don't need to do above. The sold page showing tracking and the request for that number are treated as two different things, so you need to supply that number again there.

Re: Uploads

As others said @peakfitz , eBay wants a tracking number to prove delivery to the buyer. They don't care about the receipt.

Where did you purchase shipping? If you purchased at the post office retail counter (which is far more expensive than purchasing online through eBay) then yes, you will need the receipt, because the tracking number will be printed on the receipt.

If you're buying shipping at the post office instead of online, you need to start manually adding the tracking number to every order within your listing's handling time.

A barcode is of no relevance here. As I mentioned previously @u2_vintage , shipping is complicated and I suggest not advising sellers on any shipping matters in the US when you're located in Jordan and unfamiliar with shipping carriers and process in the US.
