I think I was just scammed, sent an iPhone X to Ukraine Buyer. Of course buyers city in Ukraine does not accept Express USPS so I sent it regular international USPS. I sent it after I was paid via PayPal. Now they complained they never got and of course I have no proof , so EBay awarded her back her money over $800. So now they have my $900 cell and their money. I am out $800 plus the cell $900. What a scam, I am so mad I fell for it!! There has to be a way to get back at these people, why does
Ebay allow
this!!

you've been here twenty years and didnt know you must have signature confirmation on any item over $750 to retain your seller protection? Im kind of shocked..thought you were a newbie.

Not very active on eBay, in 20 years never had an issue with a buyer, I guess you’ve been burned before.

No, Ive never been burned here, and Ive been here for twenty years too. Im just surprised you've been here so long, and sent this phone to the Ukraine with no insurance and no signature confirmation. You' could have canceled the sale using problem with buyers address, since you couldnt get tracking..

I’ll remember that

You know you had to send it signature required or else you would lose a claim of not received. You gave them a free phone. You should've cancelled and refunded citing a problem with the buyer's address-it is not able to accept a signature delivery and the item cost requires one.

Sorry to hear that.
At least you can call Apple and ask to have the phone blocked.

Afraid I must agree with the other posters. Regardless of how infrequently you sell on eBay, you need to know what you're doing to avoid costly mistakes. You sold a high scam item and failed to send it with the required signature confirmation required for items valued at $750 or higher. You didn't follow procedure and it bit you in the backside.

Posting so that you hear this enough times. Regardless of how infrequently you sell you should have done some research before selling such a high priced item. If you had researched, even a tad, you'd have pretty quickly realized you were selling a high scam item. Sorry this happened to you but hopefully you have learned a valuable lesson now. Read, read and get information before you start something you either aren't very practiced in or haven't done much lately. Things change, rules change, times change....
Best of luck to you....
